BIOSTATISTICS STUDENTS ASSOCIATION
The Biostatistics Student Association (BSA) is in its third year at Boston University. , and a feature lecture given by Dr. Ted Colton on what it means to be a biostatistician. The BSA also organized other social events, such as the annual Halloween party and meet-and-greets for new students. This year the group aims to continue organizing fun and informative events and social activities, as well as initiating a student-led journal club.

International Society for Computational Biology
The International Society for Clinical Biostatistics was founded in 1978 to stimulate research into the principles and methodology used in the design and analysis of clinical research and to increase the relevance of statistical theory to the real world of clinical medicine. Membership is open to all interested individuals who share the Aims of the Society.

Not only do we assist faculties and schools of medicine and public health to improve training in our disciplines, we also bridge both the research and practice aspects of our disciplines through close collaboration with other groups such as the Public Health Agency of Canada (PHAC), the Association of Public Health Epidemiologists in Ontario (APHEO), the Saskatchewan Epidemiology Association (SEA), the Statistical Society of Canada (SSC), and the Canadian Association of Veterinary Epidemiology Preventive Medicine (CAVEPM).
