CLINICAL ANATOMY is the Official Journal of the American Association of Clinical Anatomists and the British Association of Clinical Anatomists.

The goal of CLINICAL ANATOMY is to provide a medium for the exchange of current information between anatomists and clinicians. This journal embraces anatomy in all its aspects as applied to medical practice. Furthermore, the journal assists physicians and other health care providers in keeping abreast of new methodologies for patient management and informs educators of new developments in clinical anatomy and teaching techniques.

The Internal Medicine Journal is the region’s leading internal medicine publication, publishing original medical research, both laboratory and clinical, relating to the study and research of human disease from all over the world. The Journal also plays a major role in continuing medical education through review articles relevant to physician education. The Internal Medical Journal is actively supported by a first-class team of subspecialty Editors who actively recruit influential and topical materials in all areas of internal medicine.

Pain Practice, the official journal of the World Institute of Pain, publishes international multidisciplinary articles on pain and analgesia that provide its readership with up-to-date research, evaluation methods, and techniques for pain management. Special sections including the Consultant’s Corner, Images in Pain Practice, Case Studies from Mayo, Tutorials, and the Evidence-Based Medicine combine to give pain researchers, pain clinicians and pain fellows in training a systematic approach to continuing education in pain medicine. Prior to publication, all articles and reviews undergo peer review by at least two experts in the field.

The Annals of Human Genetics is an international journal publishing rigorously peer-reviewed research. The principal aim of the Annals is to increase understanding of the biology of human variation, both in disease and in health. In recent years it has become apparent that the study of population genetics is extremely relevant to molecular pathology. The interaction of these fields can greatly increase our understanding of the generation and maintenance of variation in the human genome.

Journal of Anatomy publishes original papers, invited review articles and book reviews. Its main focus is to understand anatomy through an analysis of structure, function, development and evolution. Priority will be given to studies of that clearly articulate their relevance to the anatomical community. Focal areas include: experimental studies, contributions based on molecular and cell biology and on the application of modern imaging techniques and papers with novel methods or synthetic perspective on an anatomical system. Studies that are essentially descriptive anatomy are appropriate if they communicate clearly a broader functional or evolutionary significance. Articles covering bioinformatics and other topics that clarify or provide tools for functional anatomical understanding will also be sympathetically considered.

The practical application of anatomical research to clinical problems necessitates special adaptation and selectivity in choosing from numerous international works. Although there is a tendency to believe that meaningful advances in anatomy are unlikely, constant revision is necessary. Surgical and Radiologic Anatomy, the first international journal of Clinical anatomy has been created in this spirit.

Interactive Surgery is an English-language periodical which deals with surgical techniques in the field of Orthopaedics and Traumatology. The publication is actively involved in the international development of Orthopaedics and the medical advancement of surgeons. Our objective is to supply the surgeon community, science-oriented businesses, teaching centres and medical industries with coverage of the latest surgical achievements, using the appropriate multi-media format: hard-copy illustrations, 3D visualisations, and video sequences on DVD. The Journal of Molecular Histology publishes 6 times a year full-length original research papers, review articles, short communications and letters to the editors. Coverage includes studies describing novel cellular or ultrastructural distributions of molecules which provide insight into biochemical or physiological function, development, histological structure and disease processes. Human Cell is the official English language journal of the Japan Human Cell Society, and publishes original research articles describing studies on human cells, embryonic stem cells derived from animals, and regenerative medicine using animal cells. Contents include research articles, rapid communications, reviews and letters to the editor.

Anatomy Research International is a peer-reviewed, open access journal that publishes original research articles, review articles, and clinical studies in all areas of basic and clinical anatomy.

Anatomy Research International currently has an acceptance rate of 26%. The average time between submission and final decision is 37 days and the average time between acceptance and publication is 20 days.

Clinical Genetics links research to the clinic, translating advances in our understanding of the molecular basis of genetic disease for the practising clinical geneticist. The journal publishes high quality research papers, short reports, reviews and mini-reviews that connect medical genetics research with clinical practice.

DEVELOPMENTAL DYNAMICS provides a focus for communication among developmental biologists who study the progressive and dynamic emergence of form and function during embryonic development. The journal is an international forum for the exchange of novel and substantive information on mechanisms that control development. We seek manuscripts presenting work done at all levels of biological organization, ranging from the molecular to the organismal, using both animal and plant model systems, and we welcome studies that advance our understanding of the developmental basis of human disease.
