The department of chemistry and biochemistry offers a program of study leading to the degree of master of science with a major in chemistry or to the degree of doctor of philosophy with a major in chemistry. These programs offer a sound academic background of course work and research to prepare the student for further graduate study or employment in fields requiring an advanced degree or post doctoral studies.
