Course Objective
This course is designed to make learners understand the Rationale, Procedure, Interpretation of different qualitative analyses and reporting results. Data analysis is an essential part of qualitative research and students need to have a grasp over the concepts, theoretical rationale of using a specific qualitative analysis and to learn procedures to carry out these analyses with the focus on Islamic literature.

At the completion of this course the students are expected to understand rationale of a specific analysis, apply appropriate analysis keeping in view the underlying assumptions in accordance with formulated objectives and research questions. They will also be able to analyze the data through Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis, Grounded Theory, Narrative, Thematic and Content Analysis through the assistance of available Islamic Literature.
