• Critically analyse major concepts of the nature of man in the understanding of Islamic psychology.
• Examine Islamic psychology derived from the Qur’an and Sunnah.
• List the major influential Classical Islamic scholars in the development of philosophy and Islamic psychology.
• Describe the contributions of classical Islamic scholars to the development of modern Islamic psychology.
• Outline a brief History in the development of psychology: Judeo-Christian psychology.
• Critically examine the work of contemporary Islamic psychologist in the Islamisation of psychology.
• Discuss the relative merits of the Islamisation of psychology and its clinical application.
• Discuss the classical works of Malik Badri in the development of modern Islamic psychology.
• Examine the relationships between religion, spirituality and psychology from an Islamic perspective.
