• Different types of signaling, cell surface receptors, G protein coupled receptors and Receptor tyrosine kinases, protein kinase, adenylate cyclase in the cell membrane, their stimulation and inhibition, signaling molecules, cAMP and MAP kinase pathways.
• Metabolic pathways for the formation of Inositol triphosphate from phosphatidyl inositol diphosphate, formation of DAG, Ca2+ channel activation, ryanodine receptors, activation and translocation of protein kinase C in the cell membrane.
• cAMP and CREB, JAK-STAT pathway, Smads, Interaction between various signaling pathways, NF-KB pathway
