Radiology is a branch of medicine that uses imaging technology to diagnose and treat disease. Radiology may be divided into two different areas, diagnostic radiology and interventional radiology. Doctors who specialize in radiology are called radiologist

Course Objectives

LEARNING OBJECTIVES
  • Describe in detail examination and understanding of radiological imaging (X-Rays) of Extremities, Spine and Chest.
  • Explain briefly an overview of radiological imaging including Mammography, Fluoroscopy,
  • Computer Tomography, Magnetic Resonance Imaging, Ultrasound, Endoscopy, Nuclear
  • Medicine and Interventional Radiology.
  • Explain briefly indications to prescribe X-Rays, Mammography, MRI and Ultrasound.
