Expository writing is a style of composition that exposes or explains a topic using facts. Expository writing often includes a thesis statement , supportive information, explanatory paragraphs and a conclusion that summarizes the information.

The Expository Writing course focuses on developing students' ability to write clear, coherent, and well-structured essays.
