Course Goals

  1. To develop Good Muslim Professionals in the field of Medical Sciences
  2. To highlight the role of ethics in personality development
  3. To inculcate Professional-Ethics in Medical and Life Sciences
  4. To provide ethically-equipped professionals to meet the challenges in the field of Medical and Life Sciences

  2. Ethics, general introduction, Branches of Ethics, Distinction between Ethics, Morality
  3. Islamic vision in ethical management: How the Quran and Sunnah look on good and bad qualities.
  4. Desired Ethical Values (Akhlāq Hasanah) Vs. Undesirable Ethical Values (Akhlaq Sayyiah)
  5. Role of Islamic worship in behavior modification and personality development
  6. Understanding of self and relationship of human being with society and the Creator.
  7. Workplace ethics and implementation of quality production in Basic Sciences
  8. Conflict resolution in the light of Islamic ethics 
  9. Decision Making in the light of the Islamic sources
  10. Islamic system of life: The spirit of Islamic thought and civilization
  11. Islamic Jurisprudential thought, role of Shariah Objectives in reconstruction of Muslim thought and to give solutions of contemporary issues.
