The English Journal is a journal of ideas for English language arts teachers in junior and senior high schools and middle schools. EJ presents information on the teaching of writing and reading, literature, and language. Each issue examines the relationship of theory and research to classroom practice, and reviews current materials of interest to English teachers, including books and electronic media. The journal is published bimonthly in September, November, January, March, May, and July.

College English is the professional journal for the college scholar-teacher. CE publishes articles about literature, rhetoric-composition, critical theory, creative writing theory and pedagogy, linguistics, literacy, reading theory, pedagogy, and professional issues related to the teaching of English. Issues may also include review essays. Contributions may work across traditional field boundaries; authors represent the full range of institutional types.

English Education is published by CEE, the Conference on English Education (a constituent organization of the National Council of Teachers of English), and serves as a forum for discussion of issues related to (1) the nature of the English education discipline, especially as it spans all levels of instruction, and (2) the education and development of teachers of English at all levels.

World Englishes is an English language and linguistics journal dedicated to empirical research on the global context of Englishes in the cultural, linguistic, and social realms. With an emphasis on cross-cultural identities and perspectives, the journal covers a wide range of theoretical and applied studies related to language, literature and English teaching. With contributions from Africa, the Americas, Asia, Europe and Oceania, World Englishes provides a key platform for recent developments in this vital area.

JSTOR is a shared digital library created in 1995 to help university and college libraries to free space on their shelves, save costs, and provide greater levels of access to more content than ever before.
