Intensive readings focusing on the critical studies and /or cultural studies traditions in mass communication theory and research. Topics may include critical and cultural approaches to media and culture in their social, economic, and political arenas. It examines identity of intercultural communication in social, psychological, and critical perspectives. Also discussed the relation of language, cultural spaces, and popular culture between intercultural communications. Cultural spaces covered are a range of issues in international and intercultural communication including communication and development, the new world information order, cultural imperialism, and Internationalization.
