The Biostatistics Student Association (BSA) is in its third year at Boston University. The group organizes numerous student-driven events.Last year’s events included a Fall semester meet-and-greet, a student luncheon with new and veteran students to discuss questions about courses, qualifying exams, internships, and career opportunities
, and a feature lecture given by Dr. Ted Colton on what it means to be a biostatistician. The BSA also organized other social events, such as the annual Halloween party and meet-and-greets for new students. This year the group aims to continue organizing fun and informative events and social activities, as well as initiating a student-led journal club.
