Clinical Assessment (Theory, Practical- Demonstration, & Report writing): Course outlines (Psy-5103)

Course objective

The course aims to equip internees with the prerequisite Psychological Assessment Skills and Psychological Testing. The course is designed to provide an orientation of related concepts about developing and standardization of psychological tests i.e. reliability, validity, norms, item development, item analysis. The course also aims to train internees understand the rational of a specific Test, Administer, Score and Interpret and write a Comprehensive Assessment Report.

Course Outcome

After having completed this course, the internees will have a grasp on theoretical knowledge about Psychological Tests; Testing Material, Reliability, Validity, Administration, Scoring, Interpretation and Interviewing skills. After completion of the course, the internees will able to Select, Administer, Score, Interpret and Write Comprehensive Psychological Assessment report
