American Physiological Association
The American Psychological Association is the largest scientific and professional organization representing psychology in the United States, with more than 122,500 researchers, educators, clinicians, consultants and students as its members. APA aspires to excel as a valuable, effective and influential organization advancing psychology as a science. The core values that guide our mission include pursuit of excellence, knowledge, diversity and ethical action.
Our strategic plan goals are to maximize the association's organizational effectiveness, expand psychology's role in advancing health and increase recognition of psychology as a science.
The Canadian Physiological Society
The Canadian Physiological Society is a non-profit society that serves as a forum for the dissemination and discussion of scientific information of interest to researchers in Physiology and related Biological Sciences. The major aims of the Society are to encourage research in the Physiological Sciences and to foster communication between members of the Canadian scientific community. The Society supports national and international meetings for physiologists, including symposia and travel grants.
Australian Physiological Society
AuPS is the professional association for Australian physiologists which was founded in 1960.
Physiology is a key life science essential to our understanding of how humans and animals function. With the increasing specialization of bio-medical research, physiology provides an essential framework within which new knowledge of cells and molecules can be applied to improving human health.
Pakistan Physiological Society
Pakistan Physiological Society is the official, registered Society of Physiologists of Pakistan. The Society was founded in 1986 in a meeting of senior physiologists of Pakistan held at The Aga Khan University Medical College, and University of Karachi. The Society is regularly holding Biennial International Conferences at various Medical Schools of Pakistan and provides a platform to members to present their original research work. The last Conference (PPS-14) was held jointly at University of Sindh, Jamshoro and Isra University Hyderabad, Pakistan.
The Physiological Society brings together over 3,400 scientists from over 60 countries. Since its foundation in 1876, its Members have made significant contributions to our knowledge of biological systems and the treatment of disease. American Physiological Society
The American Physiological Society (APS) is a nonprofit devoted to fostering education, scientific research, and dissemination of information in the physiological sciences. The Society was founded in 1887 with 28 members. APS now has over 10,500 members. Most members have doctoral degrees in physiology and/or medicine (or other health professions). APS is governed by an elected Council consisting of a President, President-Elect, Past President, and nine Councillors. The National headquarters of the Society is based in Bethesda, Maryland, on the campus of the Federation of American Societies for Experimental Biology (FASEB).
