Positive psychology is the scientific study of what makes life most worth living, focusing on both individual and societal well-being.[1] It studies "positive subjective experience, positive individual traits, and positive aims to improve quality of life."[2] It is a field of study that has been growing steadily throughout the years as individuals and researchers look for common ground on better well-being.[3]

Course Objectives

positive interpersonal behavior which could make one’s life more meaningful.
b) To get an understanding of the valued personal experiences in the past, in present and
for the future contributing to personal satisfaction and happiness.
c) To discuss how positive changes can be made in one’s life by thinking and behaving
positively at various levels and situations– schools, work, and communities.
d) To gain a deeper insight in the current research focused on pleasure, joy, creativity,
self-efficacy, flow, well-being, etc.
