Course description

  • The purpose of the course is to provide the students with an in-depth study and analysis of the regional and systemic organization of the body.
  • The course will emphasize on structure and function of human movement.
  • The course will cover human anatomy with emphasis on the nervous, skeletal, muscle, and circulatory systems. The course will lay down the foundation of General Anatomy, and the understanding of Neuroanatomical (regional Anatomy) to be supplemented through dissection and identification of structures in the manikins/smart boards, charts, models, prosecuted materials, and radiographs.

Learning objectives

• Describe the regional organization of the human brain & neural pathways

• Classify the nervous system

 • Explain the structure and function of the spinal cord
