The scope of this course does not admit the first Romantic Movement of the giants like Spenser, Sidney and Shakespeare etc. This is worth mentioning that romantic literature in fact, starts from the graveyard school of the 18th century primarily known for its classic taste. The period of romantic aesthetics covered in this course starts from 1789 with the advent of Blake’s work. This is the romantic revival period in which Blake, Wordsworth, Coleridge, Shelley, Byron, Keats, etc. established its immense poetic and prosaic richness.
