The Qur’an is believed a treasure of knowledge and guidance for Muslims around the globe. For taking the Qur’anic guidance, Muslims are required to approach Qur’anic teachings with a desire for understanding, and practicing. The Qur’an is the primary source of Islamic faith and system of life. Indeed, the instructions of the Qur’an are comprehensive, practical, and universal for all nations and cultures of the World. However, a general perception of common people is that the Qur’an is just a book of aqa’id [beliefs] and ibadah [worships]. This course briefly presents the Qur’anic vision of life and its ethical teachings. It aims at offering basic teachings of the Qur’an and their applied aspects to improve the ethical and moral conduct of students for a meaningful, healthy, and successful life.
