The Quran database
The Quran database is a resource for the study, analysis, reference, and recitation of the Holy Quran. It provides Translations, Tafseer, Commentary, Shan-e-Nuzool, related Ahadith, and Transliteration among other details and options with each displayed Verse (Ayat).
Verse-wise, Chapter-wise, Loop, Range repetition, by Maqra, by Para (Juz), continuous, and background recitation options are available. Quranic text is displayed in the Mushaf-e-Ajmi script, the Mushaf-e-Amiri (USMANI) script, an ancient style Mushaf without diacritical marks, a calligraphic Mushaf, and both Ajmi and Amiri color-coded Tajweed Mushafs as well.
Topic-wise verses, qur’anic supplication verses, verses about the signs and events of Judgement Day, verses with the 99 blessed names of Allah جَلَّ جَلَالَهُ and of His Beloved Prophet صلى الله عليه و سلم, Quranic stories, and more. You can also create a list of your own Favorite verses.
Meaning and pronunciation of Quranic Arabic words is shown along with their Root words. ABJAD value of any selection / chapter(s) is also displayed, as well as Arabic alphabets used and not used. Timeline of the Holy Quran, some Quran statistics, benefits of each Surah, and a Summary introduction to each Surah and to each Para.
Advanced search in Arabic (including by Root), and in all translation languages; Ayat index, count of words, alphabets, and diacritics in a selection, chapter/s, or the entire Holy Book. Maintains recent perusal history.
It can read out translations in your language of choice. You can adjust text size, select your own colors and translation fonts, print, and use features like Auto-advance and Auto-recite for ease of access.
You can now record and use a recitation in your own voice. You can attach notes and videos to verses. You can export the Quranic and translations text to a customized PDF or XPS file, and you can export the Quranic and translations audio to a custimized MP3 file
