The core objective of this course is to implement understanding of the anatomy and physiology of speech production related to motor speech disorders

At the end of this course student will be able to:

 Categories the underlying anatomical & physiological causes of motor speech disorders

 Analyze and apply methods for assessing and identifying the nature and severity of motor speech disorders.

 Demonstrate therapy strategies to alleviate or circumvent communication difficulties.

 Correlate literature-based, best practice core competencies with inter professional education and collaborative practice.

 Apply core competencies and rehabilitate the functional speech of patients through management.
