Speech disorders or speech impediments are a type of communication disorder where 'normal' speech is disrupted. This can mean stuttering, lisps, etc. Someone who is unable to speak due to a speech disorder is considered mute.

Course Description

In this course students will be given theoretical understanding of voice production and voice pathology. Students will be trained in voice therapy using clinical experiences which is an essential requirement for real insight into the perception and clinical treatment of dysphonic patients. Comprehensive knowledge of the complete range of voice disorders will be imparted. The chief motive in developing this course is to develop ample understanding among students about normal voice, disordered voice, accurate diagnosis and the appropriate treatment.
