Course Description
The course aims to provide a deep understanding of organic pharmaceutical chemistry. The course material covers the theoretical principles behind organic reactions and their practical applicability with a strong focus on medicinal chemical applications. After successfully completing the course the student should be able to plan and evaluate the synthesis of complex drug and drug-like molecules.
This course emphasizes the application of organic synthesis to the development of pharmaceutical targets at both the medicinal and process chemistry levels.

Islamic International Medical College (IIMC) is a private sector medical Institution established in 1996 Pakistan with a unique vision of combining Islamic medical education with ethical values.
