Adult Neurological Rehabilitation
The purpose of Adult Neurological Rehabilitation is to improve the level of functioning for patients who have suffered stroke, brain injury, spinal cord injury or any other debilitating neurological disorder through a coordinated and integrated rehabilitation program.
Our goals are to assist the patient in regaining an optimal degree of functional movement and use of body, communication, cognitive and visual/perceptual function, and psychosocial skills. We work with the patient on restoring/retraining the weakness or deficit, compensating for it and/or adapting for it. This outpatient program should increase an individual's abilities to return to activities of daily living, school, leisure, community and work.
