Forensic psychology is a branch of psychology which relates to the law. The main part of forensic psychology is working with the criminal justice system.

Learning Outcomes of the course

At the completion of the course the students will be able to: Understand the basic concepts of forensic psychology, role of forensic psychologists and will be able to apply assessment and investigative skills and assist legal system

Objectives of the Course

To develop a basic understanding of human behavior

To make the students learn the various areas of study in Forensic Psychology

To make the students understand the role of Psychology in the Law Enforcement field

To identify the basic factors that contribute to violent criminal behavior
