International Union of Pure and Applied Physics

The International Union of Pure and Applied Physics (IUPAP) was established in 1922 in Brussels with 13 Member countries and the first General Assembly was held in 1923 in Paris. The Union is governed by its General Assembly which meets every three years.

 

Canadian Association of Physicists

The Canadian Association of Physicists is a broadly-based national network of physicists working in educational, industrial, and research settings. We are a strong and effective advocacy group for support of, and excellence in, physics research and education.

 

 

Pakistan Physical Society

In 1986, Dr. G. Murtaza and Dr. A. H. Nayyar at QAU Islamabad organized a National Symposium on Frontiers in Physics (Jan 26-30, 1986) on the occasion of Prof. Abdus Salam’s 60th Birthday which fell on 29th January.
