The Pakistan Pediatric Association (PPA) is a National representation association of Pediatricians of Pakistan. It has registered on 6th May, 1965 under the Societies Registration Act 1860 with the Provincial Assistant Registrar as a no profit welfare society.
The Pediatric Academic Societies (PAS) Annual Meeting is the largest international meeting focused on research in child health. We bring together a variety of groups to—not only discuss original research, which has been the hallmark of the PAS meeting, but to also discuss how this research can be applied to actual clinical practice in pediatrics. This alliance also provides opportunity to discuss other critical issues that affect child health such as public policy and advocacy.
Approximately 3800 scientific presentations are selected each year. Our program includes independent society specific programming and joint programming in areas of mutual interest between the APS, SPR, APA, AAP and other affiliate societies. This meeting is providing an excellent opportunity to celebrate the past and future of the pediatric discipline in this millennium.

The APS/SPR central office in The Woodlands, TX serves as the central administration for overall meeting and management services for the PAS. The individual APS/SPR, APA and AAP administrations work together to assure the goals and missions of the PAS Program Committee and Annual Meeting are achieved.
