The focus of this course is to develop an insight about the pathologies resulting in speech, language and swallowing problems. At the end of this course student will be enable:
Identify various pathologies that can result in speech and language problems, including neurological, developmental, and structural disorders.
Explain the underlying mechanisms by which different pathologies affect speech and language functions.
Apply knowledge of pathologies to diagnose speech and language problems in clinical scenarios.
Analyze case studies to determine the specific pathologies contributing to speech and language issues in different patient populations.
Evaluate strategies for effective collaboration with other health care professionals for communication and swallowing disabilities
