Course Description

Total Quality Management (TQM) concepts and definitions of quality and system.  The basic definition of inspection, inspector qualification, Types of inspections, Measurement Instruments and gauges (mechanical, electrical, electronic, and hybrid), Areas, and phases of inspections. Selecting quality parameters/characteristics for inspection including limits, tolerances, and fits.
